Beloved Georgia Country Star Clings to Life in Hospital After Heart Attack


Country music star Colt Ford suffered a heart attack was rushed to a hospital following a concert Thursday night, according to multiple reports.

USA Today reported that Ford is “in stable but critical condition.

He is said to be receiving treatment in Mesa, Arizona, following a medical emergency that occurred after his performance at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row bar.

Ford, a singer/songwriter with close collaborations with Toby Keith, Jamey Johnson, and Jason Aldean, has faced health challenges. According to Taste of Country, the 54-year-old artist was reported to be fighting Myasthenia Gravis, an autoimmune condition, last year.

Reportedly, he faced eye cancer and underwent surgery to address it three years ago.

Ford, known by his birth name Jason Farris Brown, transitioned from a career in professional golfing to become a musician. With a discography spanning eight studio albums, his musical journey began in 2008 and continues with his latest release titled “Must Be Country” in 2023.
