Inside Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s Relationship Timeline & New $13 Million California Mansion

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani tend to keep their home life private. But in May 2020, the couple showed how serious their relationship is when they purchased their first place together. The musicians dropped over $13 million for a palatial pad in Encino, California that is so stunning, it might make your eyes pop.

Ahead, we’ll talk more about their relationship and the place where they seemingly intend to put down their roots.

So, let’s get started:A couple that makes it through hard times together, stays together. Such is the case of Stefani and Blake, who were going through pretty tough times when they met after Gwen joined Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, and Blake as a coach on “The Voice” in 2014. Gwen and Blake were starting to become good friends, and when Stefani posted a selfie in November 2014 with Blake captioned “(heart) him”, we knew they had great chemistry.

In July 2015, the country star Blake Shelton announced he had separated with then-wife Miranda Lambert. Soon after Blake and Miranda were broken up, Gwen and her husband Gavin Rossdale released a statement declaring they have ended their marriage.

Perhaps relating through the struggle of divorce was what brought them closer together. In October 2015, Blake and Gwen appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” where they performed a rendition of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” together.

There had been wild speculations about whether the duo is in a relationship till then. They were spotted at George Clooney’s Halloween celebration together and later headed over to Jared Leto’s.

Finally, after much speculation, the couple made it official that they were in fact in a relationship in November 2015. A rep for Blake said: “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating.” Later, Gwen told Ryan Seacrest how it was crazy that they went through the same thing together and confessed that they bonded through their divorces.

The gorgeous couple made their debut as a couple at the Vanity Fair 2016 Oscars afterparty. Gwen, who performed at the event, looked heavenly hot in a red dress while Blake donned a black suit. The couple looked gorgeous together and fans could not get enough. By the time they started making public appearances, it was pretty obvious that they were smitten.

In May 2016, the couple debuted new music together; “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” – was co-written by both of them but featured on Shelton’s If I’m Honest album. In that same July 2016 cover story, the singer got deep about his relationship with Stefani. He went on to reveal how messed up he was after his divorce and how the former No Doubt frontwoman pretty much saved his life.

In November 2018, they did Christmas together in a music video. It was Stefani’s turn to feature a song on an album starring her other half. “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” a track of her holiday EP, is a feel-good jingle that has a holly jolly music video showcasing the couple doing traditional Christmas activities.

As of January 2020, Shelton chatted with “Entertainment Tonight” about his and Stefani’s relationship, saying “God had a hand” in bringing them together. Knowing full well that secret engagement rumors had been swirling for years, he was deliberately vague when asked about the lyrics to one of his songs; “Nobody But You”.

According to Country Living, “The reporter told him that the lyrics to his song—‘I don’t wanna look back in 30 years and wonder who you’re married to’—weren’t helping whispers that they’ve secretly married.” Of course, Shelton responded, “I love the rumors. Those rumors are great. Anybody that thinks that I’m married to Gwen already, I love it. My God. Who wouldn’t want to be married to Gwen Stefani?”

Despite the setback of quarantine, Blake Shelton’s most recent interview took an unexpected turn. On Monday, April 2020, “The Tonight Show” aired an at-home episode, during which Jimmy Fallon interviewed the country musician about everything from his music to upcoming episodes of “The Voice.” About two minutes into their segment, Shelton’s girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, joined him to give him a haircut.

If you thought the duets between these too would stop because of a pandemic, think again! The couple dropped their fourth song together, “Happy Anywhere,” with an equalling cute music video. Shelton and Stefani have had to put that into practice during quarantine, while they’ve been stuck at the same location for months. To support the new song, they filmed a homemade video around Shelton’s Oklahoma property.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are taking their relationship to the next level! Although we’re still waiting on an engagement, The Voice judges recently purchased their first home together in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley. Built by noted developer Evan Gaskin, the 13,000 sq. ft., mansion, worth a whopping $13.2 million, has three floors and sits on a secluded 1.6-acre lot.

The lavish home is hidden behind two large gates, making it invisible from the street, and one of the most private homes in the area. Gwen’s kids — sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, — will be

happy to hear that there’s a top-of-the-line movie theater and a large backyard pool. But, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The country crooner, Blake Shelton, now 43, and former No Doubt frontrunner,  Gwen Stefani, now 50, can escape for alone time in the spa and all its relaxing amenities. The private abode includes a cabana and a large outdoor kitchen, with state-of-the-art appliances. And, there’s a wet bar. So, you know Blake will most likely be stocked up with his signature Smithworks vodka. The new home also contains a motor-court and a four-car garage.

Gwen and Blake reportedly sealed the deal on their real estate venture, less than a year after she sold her Beverly Hills mansion — the residence she previously lived in with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
