Lauren Alaina Expresses Gratitude to Jason Aldean for Support Following Her Father’s Passing

In the wake of her father’s unexpected death, country singer Lauren Alaina has publicly expressed her deep appreciation for the support she’s received, particularly from her tourmate Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany.

Alaina, 29, was touring with Aldean, 47, when her father, J.J. Suddeth, passed away, leading her to cancel several shows in Savannah, Virginia Beach, and Charlotte to be with her family.

In an Instagram post shared on August 7, Alaina conveyed her heartfelt thanks. “Thank you. I don’t have many words right now, but thank you,” she wrote. “Thank you to everyone who has checked on me and continued to show up for me. A special thank you to @jasonaldean and @brittanyaldean and your team for treating me like family. And to my husband, thank you for being my rock day and night.”

Alaina also acknowledged the support from her siblings, mother, and stepfather, appreciating their efforts to bring comfort during this challenging time.

“Thank you to my brother and sister and their wonderful children for the FaceTimes at all hours to bring a smile to my face or comfort in any way possible,” she continued. “To my mom and bonus dad, thank you for coming out on the road with me. To my team, thank you for creating a loving environment. Above all, thank you, Jesus, for the unwavering love and strength from the Kingdom of God that surrounds us as we navigate this pain and sorrow.”

Alaina announced that she plans to return to the stage this weekend, stating, “See you this weekend IN, OH, PA 🤍.”

This loss comes six years after the death of Alaina’s stepfather, Sam Ranker, who passed away from lung cancer. At the time, Alaina memorialized him with a touching Instagram tribute, highlighting his exemplary life and the lessons he imparted.

With upcoming shows and new projects on the horizon, Alaina also shared an exciting collaboration with country artist Corey Kent. She posted a video from the studio, announcing, “I’m so honored that @coreykent asked me to feature on ‘Now or Never,’ dropping 8/16! He’s the real deal, y’all! I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!”
