Who is Kane Brown?
Kane Brown is an American country music singer who is best known for his hit singles ‘What Ifs’, ‘Heaven’ and ‘Used to Love You Sober’. Despite his young age, he is already a popular name in the country music scene. He became interested in music as a little boy and was initially an R&B enthusiast.
Kane later began focusing on country music after he won a contest when he was in the 11th grade. He realized the potential his rich voice possessed and instinctively knew that he was destined for success in the country music genre. He soon started posting videos of his covers online. It didn’t take him long to earn a loyal fan following and he released his first EP titled ‘Closer’ in June 2015. It was a huge success and featured in the top ten on the Billboard Country Albums chart.
Following this, he released a few singles which also became hits. Motivated by his initial success, Kane signed with RCA Nashville and released his first full-length album titled ‘Kane Brown.’ This album too was a major success and established him as an upcoming talent in the country music genre. He has been nominated for several awards and is the first ever country musician to have simultaneous number one singles listed on all five top country charts.
Country music star Kane Brown is selling his home in Franklin, TN, for $910,000. He bought the place brand-new in May 2018 for $829,000. Fellow country music superstar Jason Aldean and his family lived in the home rent-free for a few months. Aldean was waiting for his new Tennessee mansion to be completed and needed a place to stay.
“Kane just bought a new house, and he had a house he was trying to sell, so I was talking to him one day, and I said, ‘Man, I wish I had known you were buying a house. I’m paying rent—I’d rather pay it to you,’” Aldean told a radio host in 2019. Brown took him up on the offer, and a country music connection was made.
Who Is Kane Brown’s Wife?
Katelyn Jae (born Katelyn Krapf) first made headlines when she burst on to the scene as country singer Kane Brown’s girlfriend. The romance between the two was admittedly a bit of a whirlwind, with the pair getting engaged only eight months after their first began dating in April 2017. Then in October 2018, the couple made it official, saying their I do’s during a beautiful ceremony in Franklin, Tenn., People reported. Just a year later, in October of 2019, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Kingsley Rose, per USA Today.
But although some might be quick to write Jae off as just another celebrity spouse, they’d be wrong to do so, as there’s so much more than meets the eye when it comes to this young woman. For starters, the Philadelphia native is a successful singer and songwriter in her own right. Not only that, but she also somehow managed to graduate college while pregnant with her very first child. PHEW. Now, that’s a feat! You go, girl!
