This Tweet from Blake Shelton Helped a Children’s Book Climb The Charts!

One of our favorite country singers, Blake Shelton, has once again proven why he’s one of the fan favorites.

In a tweet recently, Blake shouted out a fan’s new book, that was written in honor of his daughter. This tweet led to a huge emotional pick-me-up and a major boost in sales.

Frankie Williams is the author of “The Merdragon”. She wrote this fictional children’s book for her daughter, Shauntae, who passed away last year. Shauntae was only 36 when she died from an undiagnosed heart disease.

Frankie had said she tweeted at Shelton and his friend Craig Morgan because Craig had written a song about his son’s tragic death. Blake was promoting the tune “The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost” at the time, and she found it inspiring.

Frankie said that Blake replied to her and said he was inspired by people like her and Craig, people who can find strength and find ways to help others deal with the grief while experiencing it on their own. That led Frankie to write the book as a tribute to Shauntae.

On Monday, Frankie tweeted to Blake again saying that she wanted to send him a copy of the book as a thank you… and he ended up retweeting it and encouraging his fans to buy the book as well!

Frankie said that ever since Blake’s tweet, her book’s been selling off the charts! She said that she doesn’t have the official numbers yet, but it’s currently in the top 5 in three different children’s categories on Amazon. Before the tweet it was at around the 400-500 range.

Williams says, obviously, he didn’t have to do this for her, but she’ll be forever grateful, and adds … Blake Shelton is amazing.
