As we move into summer 2022, there are a few country singers that we think are going to have banner years and continue to rise up the ranks in the genre. Here are our top 5 predictions for country singers to keep an eye on in 2022!
1. Luke Combs:
Combs had an incredible 2020, cementing himself as one of the top country artists out there with the release of his album What You See Ain’t Always What You Get. He’s got a great combination of traditional country sounds and more modern sensibilities, and he’s got a knack for writing radio-friendly hits. We think he’s going to continue to dominate the country charts in 2022 and beyond.

2. Brett Young:
Young had a breakout year in 2017 with his self-titled debut album, and he’s continued to build on that success in the years since. His most recent album, Ticket to L.A., was a critical and commercial success, and we think he’s only going to continue to grow in popularity in the coming years. He’s got a great voice and a knack for writing catchy songs, so we think he’s one to watch in 2022.
3. Kane Brown:
Brown is one of the most promising young country artists out there right now. He’s got a unique sound that blends country, R&B, and pop, and he’s got a great voice to boot. His most recent album, Experiment, was a huge success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. We think he’s going to continue to have a lot of success in the coming years, and we think he’s one to watch in 2022.

4. Chris Lane:
Lane is another artist who had a breakout year in 2017 with his debut album, Girl Problems. He’s continued to build on that success with his follow-up albums, Laps Around the Sun and Big Big Plans, both of which were critical and commercial successes. He’s got a great voice and a knack for writing catchy songs, so we think he’s one to watch in 2022.
5. Jon Pardi:
Pardi is one of the most traditional-sounding country artists out there right now, and he’s got a great voice to boot. His most recent album, California Sunrise, was a huge success, debuting at number one on the Billboard Country Albums chart. We think he’s going to continue to have a lot of success in the coming years, and we think he’s one to watch in 2022.
While we can’t say for certain who will take the country music world by storm in 2022, we are confident that these five artists have what it takes to make it to the top. Keep an eye on them – they may just surprise you.
